All our short run CD covers are printed on quality smooth coated gloss stock. We use a standard 100lb gloss book paper (an industry standard on commercial CD releases) for all our printing. If you are choosing a single sheet for the front cover (2-panel insert) we use a sturdy 80lb gloss cover stock. Our short run covers are printed exclusively with high end Xerox equipment. These commercial printers are far beyond the price point of consumers and allow us to produce quality printing at a low cost.

CD Tray Card Inlay (Back Cover)
CD Tray cards are used as the back cover of a standard CD jewel Case. The CD Tray card folds up on the spines and usually have a perforation for an easy bend (all our tray inlays are perforated.) Generally they are printed one side when they are placed underneath the CD tray that holds the CD itself. The CD tray is generally a black opaque plastic so you cannot see the blank side of the tray inlay. However you can get a tray inlay printed on both sides and place it under a clear CD tray to hold the CD. Commercial CDs generally come with a two sided tray inlay and a clear CD tray.
